Follow the diagram at the top of the page closely for this step. Be sure the parts are positioned exactly as shown.

How to use the SAUDER TWIST-LOCK

FASTENER (Refer to the enlarged diagram.)

1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the hole of the adjoining part.

NOTE: The dowel end of the FASTENER must remain fully inserted in the hole

of the adjoining part while locking the FASTENER.

2. Tighten the FASTENER with a Phillips screwdriver as tight as possible.

Position the

SHORT MOLDING (K)

flat as shown in the top diagram with the finished surface facing up.

Fasten the

OUTER END (A)

to the

SHORT MOLDING (K)

as shown in the top diagram. Tighten the

TWIST-LOCK

FASTENERS

in the

OUTER END

NOTE:

Be sure the unfinished surface of the OUTER END is facing as shown.

Now, fasten a

METAL BRACKET (U)

to each

LONG SKIRT (M)

as shown in the bottom diagram. Use a

9/16”

LARGE HEAD SCREW (BB)

through each

BRACKET

and into one pre--drilled hole shown in each

LONG SKIRT.

NOTE:

Be sure to position the METAL BRACKETS as shown. The edge of each METAL BRACKET

should be even with the edge of the LONG SKIRT. Follow the bottom diagram.
