With someone’s help, carefully position the 109848 Return Kit next to the 109872 U--Shaped Connector Kit as shown
in the diagram.

Fasten both connector plates (from the 109848 Return) to the bottom of the
MOLDINGS
on the Return Kit and
U--Shape Connector Kit. Use eight
9/16” LARGE HEAD SCREWS
(from the 109848 Return Kit) through each plate
and into the pre--drilled holes in the
MOLDINGS
of both units.
NOTE:
The Connector Plates may already be assembled to the 109848 Return Kit. If so, the
Connector Plates will each require only four 9/16” LARGE HEAD SCREWS.

Now, fasten the modesty panel of the 109848 to the
INNER END (B)
on the U--Shape Connector Kit. Use three
1--1/2” FLAT HEAD SCREWS
with
WASHERS
(from the 109848 Return Kit) through the holes in the modesty
panel and into the pre--drilled holes in the
INNER END
on the Desk
.
IMPORTANT: The 109848 Return Kit must be attached to the 109872 U--Shape Connector Kit as
indicated in this step.

Fasten the modesty panel on the
109848 along this edge of the
INNER END (B)
using the
1--1/2”
FLAT HEAD SCREWS
and
WASHERS
you saved from step 1.
