
4.1—Flash Drive Specification
•
Flash drive to be USB 2.0 certified and that meet MSD Class certifications.
• Flash drive to be formatted to FAT32 file system.
• Flash drive to be formatted with the Default Allocation Unit size for the
drive capacity.
• Only flash memory type devices should be used.
• Preference for OEM grade flash drives.
NOTES
• Reliability of the download process cannot be guaranteed for those drives
that do not meet this specification.
• The speed of the download process may vary greatly depending on the size
and type of flash drive that is used.
• Flash drives that have been designed with built-in encryption or other
security features will not work as expected with the USB Audit Lock 2.0.
These drives typically require additional input from the end-user before they
can be used and this is not available through the keypad.
