The 2890C SCIF-High Security Door Lock is designed to
use a High Security Combination Lock. Follow the
instructions packaged with the combination lock for
installation in the 2890C SCIF-Lock device. Wear a static
discharge wrist strap (included) during combination lock
installation. The strap should be grounded to bare metal
of the door to which the 2890C SCIF-Lock is attached.
This should greatly reduce the possibility of static
discharge.
For drilling instructions and templates please refer to
document 630-880 (2890C SCIF-High Security Door
Lock Drilling Instructions/Templates).
