12. BILGE WATER PUMPING SYSTEM
The Whale Smartbail BP 5012 manual bilge pump (Pump Performance Data: 45 strokes per minute: 32,75 liters/min – 70 strokes per minute:
51,00 liters/min) is installed in the PT cockpit vertical side. The sucking pipe runs from the pump to the cabin; the sucking pipe can be easily
moved in order to sump in any area of the bilge and to reach also the cockpit lockers bottom. The discharge pipe runs from the pump to the PT
cockpit side close to the transom.

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER/OPERATOR:
•
to have at least one bailer/draw bucket on board, secured against accidental loss.
•
to check the function of all bilge pumps at regular intervals and to clear debris from the pump inlets.

THE COMBINED CAPACITY OF THE BILGE SYSTEM IS NOT INTENDED TO DRAIN THE CRAFT IN THE CASE OF IMPORTANT HULL DAMAGE
