6.4 Preparation Before Installation

CAUTION

・

Wear insulated gloves and take other precautions when connecting the batteries.

Otherwise electric shock can result.

・

There is a constant voltage (max. approx. 48V: approx. 12V

×

 4) at the battery

terminals. Do not touch them with your hands or short circuit them. Bodily injury

can result.

・

The battery connector cannot be inserted in the wrong orientation. If it does not go
in, do not try to force it. Doing so can damage the connector and result in electric

shock.

・

Be careful not to get your hands caught when securing the cover.

Connect the battery connectors inside the front cover before installation of the UPS.
Proceed as follows to connect the battery connectors.

Remove the front panel of the UPS.

Remove the screw on the right side of the battery cover, and then remove the battery

cover.

Remove the insulation tape from the battery connecter of the battery pack side.

  Connect the battery connector.

⑤

Confirm the "Forced Bypass switch. (Usual inverter side)

⑥

Attach the battery cover and fix this cover with 1 screw.

⑦

Attach the front panel.

 Remove 1 screw, and remove

the battery cover by sliding in

the direction of the arrow.

Do not lose the removed screw.

Remove by sliding in the direction

of the arrow while firmly pressing

the two locations indicated by

  The connector cannot be inserted

in the wrong orientation. Push in

until you hear a click.

  First catch the claws

on the right

 side, then

push the left side in.

Slide the cover in and secure

with the screw on the

right side.

This completes the battery connector connection.

Confirm the switch of "Forced Bypass" is

on "Inverter" side.
