Overview 

The HP Six Port Card expands the communications capability 
of a UPS so that a single UPS can exchange data with up to 
three host computers when HP Power Management software 
is installed.

Installing the Six Port Card 

1.

 

Install HP Power Manager agents on every server or 
workstation protected by the host UPS. 
To download the latest software version, see the HP 
website (http://www.hp.com/go/rackandpower). 

2.

 

Perform a normal system shutdown on all devices 
connected to the host UPS.
