Connect RS-485 comms cable to terminals M1 and M2 (in-out connection) to ES977 board by
using a “Belden 3106A Paired EIA Industrial RS-485 PLTC/CM” cable and fasten the cable braiding
to the copper cable glands.
o
Set up the rotary switches for Modbus address on ES1004 board and DIP-switch SW1 for
termination enable/disable on ES977 board.
