Setting the alarm clock
Press the Alarm (1 or 2) button to enter the alarm setting menu.
Rotate the Tuning control knob to choose “Alarm” and press the Select button to select “On” or “Off”.
If “Off” is selected any current setting for that alarm will be cancelled.
Rotate the Tuning control knob to choose “Wake Up time”. Press the Select button to cause the
alarm hour digits to flash on the display.
Rotate the Tuning control knob to choose the desired hour for the alarm and then press the Select
button to cause the alarm minute digits to flash on the display.
Rotate the Tuning control knob to choose the desired minute for the alarm and then press the
Select button.
● If the radio has been set to the 12 hour clock format, there will also be an option here for setting
AM or PM for the alarm time. Rotate the Tuning control knob to select AM or PM. Press the
Select button to confirm the setting.
Rotate the Tuning control knob to choose “Frequency”. Press the Select button. The display will
show the frequency options for the alarm. The alarm frequency options are as follows:
“Daily”- the alarm will sound everyday
“Once”- the alarm will sound once
“Weekends” - the alarm will sound only at weekends
“Weekdays”- the alarm will sound on weekdays only
Rotate the Tuning control knob to choose the required alarm frequency option. If you choose to set
the alarmto Once you will also need to set the “Date / Time” option which will appear in the alarm
setting menu. Rotate the Tuning control knob to set the “Date / Time” and press the Select button.
Use the Tuning control knob / Select button to set the date and time.
The alarm can be set to buzzer, DAB radio or FM radio. For whichever radio mode is selected, the
radio alarm may be set to any of the stations which have been stored as presets or to the station
most recently listened to.
Rotate the Tuning control knob to choose the “Source” option for the alarm. Press the Select
button. Then rotate the Tuning control knob to choose either “Buzzer” or the required radio mode.
Press the Select button to confirm the setting.
