The vacuum siphon (SF-P300) contains a ball that serves as a non-return valve for the proper function of the water-free siphon and prevents
odours from entering the unit. The siphon must be fitted to the unit gas-tightly via the enclosed rubber sleeve. Maximum usable vacuum

COMPACT DV units, all condensate discharge necks are located in the unit vacuum part! I.e. the absolute pressure in the unit is
lower than the barometric pressure in the outer vicinity of the unit! When the siphon is not connected
air is sucked in from around the unit at a
very high speed through the condensate drain (hole Ø 16 mm)
the air sucked into the unit will prevent the condensate from draining out of the
condensate tray!!!
5.2.8 BYPASS AND MIXING FLAP
In the basic version, each unit is equipped with a bypass flap of the plate heat exchanger (BP). The bypass is used for summer ventilation,
defrost control of the recuperation exchanger in the event of a threat of icing and to regulate the efficiency of the recuperation exchanger. In
conjunction with a mixing flap or circulation flap (marked MX or C in the unit code), fresh air is mixed with the required amount of exhaust air in
the bypass area. If the unit is MX or C, it also has an integrated mixing flap, which is located opposite the bypass flap. This damper allows you to
efficiently mix part of the exhaust air with fresh air, or allows the unit to have a circulation mode where only the supply fan is running. This mode
is mainly used for preheating or pre-cooling to the desired temperature.
