Debris fi lter
It is advisable to clean the debris fi lter 5 or 6 times a year to prevent its clogging.
1. Turn off the washing machine, and unplug the
power cord.
2. Drain the remaining water inside the drum.
See the
"Emergency drain" section.
3. Open the fi lter cover (A) .
4. Turn the debris fi lter knob to the left, and
drain off the remaining water.
5. Clean the debris fi lter using soft brushes.
Make sure the drain pump propeller inside the
fi lter is unclogged.
6. Reinsert the debris fi lter, and turn the fi lter
knob to the right.
NOTE
If the debris fi lter is clogged, an information code of “ 5C ” appears on the screen.
CAUTION
• Make sure the fi lter knob is closed properly after cleaning the fi lter. Otherwise, this may cause a leak.
• Make sure the fi lter is inserted properly after cleaning it. Otherwise, this may cause an operational
failure or a leak.
