BASIC FUNCTIONS
1. Switching on and off
●
To put your receiver into standby, press the key.
●
To take your receiver out of standby, press the key.
Note Note
: To save power and money, and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, please put your receiver
into standby mode when not in use.
2. Select Channels
Select the channel by pressing the
CH+/CH-
key for moving up or down pages on the lists.
3. Volume Control (TV Only)
To control the volume level:
●
Press the
VOL+ /VOL-
key to adjust volume level.
●
Press the
(MUTE)
key to turn to off audio.
●
Press the
(MUTE)
or
VOL+ /VOL-
key again to cancel the mute function.
Please see page 30 for more information on how to set up the remote control for your TV.
4. Channel Information
●
Use the key to display detailed information about
the channel that you are watching. The displayed
information includes:
- Channel number & name
- Event name & short/long description
- Start/end time
- Current time
●
You can see the information of the current channel by
pressing the key during watching a live programme.
5. The Surfer
The Surfer is an on-screen guide that helps you get the
most out of your TV. You use it to change channel, find
out what is showing on other channels, both now and
later on and set reminders.
●
Press the
OK
key to display listings for the current
channel.
●
Press the / key to display information about
current events on other channels.
●
Press the
OK
key to tune the selected current event.
●
Press the / to display information about upcoming
events.
●
To remove the banner press the
BACK
key.
●

OK
key on an upcoming event you will
set a reminder, see more page 20 and 22.
