Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Warning
Observe the following guidelines to minimize the potential for Electrostatic
Discharge (ESD) damage, which can cause intermittent or complete
component failures.
When handling Ubigate iBG1003 or its components, wear grounding
wrist straps to avoid ESD damage to the equipment. Do not directly
touch the backplane with your hand or any metal tool, or you could
shock yourself.

Always use an ESD wrist strap or ankle strap, and verify that it is in
direct contact with your skin. Avoid contact between the component and
your clothing as it causes ESD damage.

When handling any component that is removed from the chassis, verify
that the equipment end of your ESD strap is attached to one of the ESD
points on the chassis.
3.
Use care when installing or uninstalling modules or interface cards.
Tighten the captive installation screws to ensure a proper connection
when inserting modules or interface cards.
4.
When removing or installing a component, always place it component-
side up on an antistatic surface, in an antistatic card rack. If you are
returning a component, place it in an electrostatic bag before packing it.
