Dialling a number
You can call a person by saying the name or the phone
number.
Dialling a number by the name
You can make a phone call by saying the name that has
been assigned to a contact in
Contacts
or the SIM card.
Note
: To use the Name Dial feature, the name and number
that you want to dial must be in Contacts and the SIM
card. For details about Contacts, see page 56.
1. On the Voice Command screen, after a voice prompt
followed by a short beep, say “Name Dial”.
2. On the Name Dial screen, after a voice prompt followed
by a short beep, say a name in the following manner:
“<First Name + Last Name>”
If Voice Assist does not hear anyting until the progress
bar moves to the right end of the bar, you will be asked
to repeat the command twice again.
Note
: You can say “Call <First Name + Last Name> stored in
Contacts
or the SIM card to make a call by voice
command; for example, say “Call James Bond.” This will
save you a step for name dialling.
3. Your Smartphone recognises your command and
displays a list of one more names in the confirmation
screen.
