Contacts
(Menu 2)
You can store phone numbers and their corresponding
names in your card and the phone’s memory. The card
and phone’s memory, although physically separate,
are used as if they were a single entity, called
Contacts.
To access this menu, tap or press <
Menu
> and select
Contacts
in Idle mode.
Find
(Menu 2.1)
Use this menu to find a contact using a person’s name,
group name, or memory location.
Finding a contact
1. Scroll to a search method.
2. Enter the first few letters of the name you want or
select a caller group or memory.
3. Select a contact.
4. Scroll to a number and press [
] to dial, or tap or
press <
Edit
> to edit contact information.
Using Contacts options
While viewing contacts details, tap or press
<
Options
> to access the following options:
•
: send an e-mail to the selected number or
address.
•
Release main #
: cancel the main number setting.
This option is only available for numbers stored in
Contacts.
•
Set main #
: set the number as a main number for
the contact. This option is only available for
numbers stored in Contacts.
•
Talk
: dial the selected number.
•
Edit
: change the selected item.
•
Copy
: copy the selected number to another
memory location.
•
Move
: move the selected number to another
memory location.
•
Speed dial
: assign a speed dial location number
to the currently selected number.
•
Erase
: erase the contact. If you select a number,
only the number is erased.
You can quickly access this menu by tapping or
pressing <
Find
> in Idle mode.
