Menu functions
• To change the sign of a number to a negative
(-), tap or press < Options > and select +/- .
2. Press one of the Navigation keys, or tap the
operation to access the math function your want.
3. Enter the second number.
4. Press [ ] or tap
= to get the result.
5. If necessary, repeat from step 2 to continue the
calculation.
Unit converter
(Menu 8.8.2)
Use this menu for common conversions, such as
length and temperature.
1. Tap or press <
Options > and select a converter.
2. Enter the value to be converted and press [Down].
• Press
[ ]
to insert a decimal point.
• Tap or press < Clear > to delete the entered
number.
3. Scroll to the original unit and press [Down].
4. Scroll to the unit to which you want to convert.
The equivalent value for the amount you entered
displays.
Countdown
(Menu 8.9)
This menu helps you measure how long it takes you to
do something or how many days remain until a
specific event occurs. The alarm for the timer you set
will ring at 9 AM on the specified day.
Creating a countdown timer
1. Tap or press < New >.
2. Enter the date from which you want to count down.
3. Enter the event for your countdown timer and tap
or press < Save >.
4. Set the alarm to On .
5. Tap or press < Save > to save the timer.
• You can save a value into the calculator memory
by tapping or pressing < Options > and selecting
MS . To clear the saved value, select MC .
• You can reset the calculator by tapping or pressing
< CE >.
You can enter between 1981 and 2099 for the
year.
