Setting a greeting message
You can record your own greeting messages and select
the greeting to be used.
To record a greeting message:
1. From the Voice answer screen, select
Record
greetings .
2. Select a recording saving location. The phone
starts recording.
3. Record your greeting message.
4. When you have finished, tap or press <
Stop >
.
5. Select Save .
6. Enter a name for the greeting and tap or press
< Save >.
To select a greeting message:
1. From the Voice answer screen, select
Settings
→
Greet .
2. Select the greeting message you want.
3. Tap or press <
Save >.
Checking messages
You can check received messages and delete
messages.
1. From the Voice answer screen, select
Inbox .
2. Select the number or name you want. The selected
message plays.
From the message list, tap or press < Options > to
access the following options:
•
Send : send the message as part of an e-mail.
• Erase : erase the message.
• File info : access the message properties.
Customising the answering machine feature
You can change the settings for using the answering
machine feature.
From the Voice answer screen, select
Settings . The
following options are available:
•
Activate : turn on or off the answering machine
feature.
• Time : set the length of time the phone waits
before answering a call.
