Your Phone
Memory Card
Your phone allows you to use a MicroSD (Secure Digital) memory
card (up to 1GB) and an adapter to expand the phone’s available
memory space. This digital card makes it easy to exchange images,
music, and voice data quickly between SD-compatible devices.
Using MicroSD Memory Cards
You can purchase MicroSD memory cards to expand the phone’s
available memory space. They allow you to easily store images,
videos, music files, and voice data.
Note:
Before you can copy files to a memory card from your PC, you
must first insert it into the phone. The phone will format the card for you
and create the necessary file folders. The card is formatted with a FAT32
file system that can be read by most suitably equipped computers.
Inserting the MicroSD Memory Card
To insert the MicroSD memory card into your phone:
1. Turn the phone off.
2. Open the battery cover on the back of the phone by sliding it
upward.
3. Remove the battery by lifting the bottom and sliding it
downward.
4. Lift the metal cover plate.
5. Position the MicroSD memory card in the recessed
compartment with the metal contacts facing down and to
the right, ensuring that the card lies flat.
6. Lower the metal cover plate over the MicroSD card to
secure it.
