Play Music
The Play Music application supports multiple ways to add
music to the library:
1.
Download songs from Google Play to your phone.
2.
Copy music from your personal computer to your
phone using a USB cable.
3.
Transfer music from another Bluetooth or Wi-Fi device.
Once you have downloaded or transferred music to My Music
folder, follow these procedures:

The Music app searches both your online library and
your device’s internal storage for music and playlists;
this can take from a few seconds to several minutes,
depending on the amount of new music added since
you last opened the application. It then displays a
carousel view of your new and recent music, organized
by RECENT, ARTISTS, ALBUMS, SONGS, PLAYLISTS,
and GENRES.
2.
Swipe left or right to browse through your new and
available music. RECENT, ARTISTS, ALBUMS, SONGS,
PLAYLISTS, and GENRES (grouped into categories).
3.
Touch an on-screen song to open it and begin
playback.
4.
Return to the Library screen from most other screens
in the Music application by touching the Music
application icon
(
Music notification icon

top-left of the Application bar.
