Chapter 3

Additional Equipment Connection

CTM-CTI Module

This feature is applicable to the DX-408i digital key system only.

The CTM module is required to support CTI Computer Telephony Integration (1

Party TAPI)

in the system. The CTM has a PC interface (DB9) and a DLI connection, which can be
connected to any DLI port of the DX-408i digital key system.

A PC can be connected to the module via the DB9 (9 pin serial) connector. Connect the CTM
module to a PC and a DX keyset as below.

Connect each CTM module to a DLI port via the modular jack marked 'DLI IN'.

Connect the CTM module to a DX keyset via the modular jack marked 'KTS OUT'.

A CTI software package , Samsung Smart Control, is supplied with each CTM.

The CTM module should not be used outdoors.

The pin connections from the CTM to the PC are as follows.
