4. Installing a Back Up Battery

Selecting Battery

A Battery Backup is available for providing for operation of the DX-408/DX-408i digital key
system during a power outage (ordering code DCSBBU, 7 AH, 48 Volts, providing
approximately 4 hours’ back up time). The recommended capacity of a backup battery for the
DX-408/DX-408i digital key system is DC 48V (6AH~40AH). An excessively large Amp
Hour capacity of a battery may cause a breakdown of the DX-408/DX-408i digital key system.
An insufficient battery capacity may provide for insufficient back up operation duration.
