Markings on the control valve
The valve nameplate (80) in valve sizes
DN 15 to 15 or NPS ½ to 2 is affixed to the
valve on the body flange (Fig. 2). The name
-
plate is affixed to the top of the bonnet in
valve sizes DN 65 or NPS 2½ and larger
(Fig. 3).

2.2 Actuator nameplate

2.3 Material number
The seat and plug of the valves have an arti -
cle number written on them. Specifying this
article number, you can contact us to find out
which material is used. Additionally, a seat
code is used to identify the trim material.
This seat code is specified on the nameplate
(17). For more details on the nameplate, see
section 2.1.
