Gas appliances safety notes
DANGER! Risk of fire, explosion, suffocation, malfunction, if incorrectly connected or incorrect
changing to other types of gas.

Do not switch on the appliance if you smell gas in the installation room! Risk of explosion! Immediately
close the gas shut-off device at the building! Do not switch on or off electrical appliances! Open
windows and doors! Thoroughly ventilate the installation room with a draught! Leave the room! Inform
the standby service of the gas grid operator! Determine the location of the gas leak after adequate air
exchange!

Incorrect installation, maintenance and modifications to the appliance can result in serious injuries or
death!
D
The gas appliance may be connected only by the contract installation company/gas utility company.
D
Work on gas consumption facilities in industrial kitchens such as
−
switching to another type of gas,
−
inspections, services,
−
elimination of malfunctions and
−
initial commissioning
must only be carried out by
−
the gas supplier,
−
an experienced representative of the manufacturer,
−
by a distribution agency authorised by a large liquefied petroleum gas concern.

Before connecting
−
make sure to inform the respective gas supplier.
−
Check that the type of gas set for the appliance agrees with the type of gas at the installation loca
tion.

When connecting, converting or servicing the gas appliance, make sure to check
−
the exhaust gas extraction from the set-up area,
−
the fresh air supply to the burning points,
−
tightness of the gas-bearing parts (leak spray),
−
burning safety and combustion performance,
−
ignition, safety and control equipment.

Observe the country-specific regulations for gas installation!
D
Observe the "Technical regulations for liquid gas" (TRF) and "Technical regulations for gas in
stallations" (DVGW-TRGI, G 600, G 631, G 634, G 660, G 670)!

Installation work must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer´s assembly instructions and
in accordance with accepted technical regulations.

Installation of individual burner components of makes or types from third parties is not permitted, as
well as so-called gas savers.
D
Select the installation site so that no dust, lint, greases, etc. can be sucked in. If contamination is
sucked in, this may lead to poor combustion with toxic exhaust gases and damage of the gas burner.
