USING THE BUFFET SERVER
1. Ensure the unit is on a firm, flat, heat-resistant surface, and the temperature dial is
turned to
‘OFF’. Plug the unit into the electrical socket – the indicator light will glow.
2. Turn the temperature dial to select your desired heat setting.
3. Place the frame on to the hot tray.
4. Place the prepared food in the dishes, and place them inside the frame of the unit.
Take caution when doing this as the frame becomes hot when the unit is on.
5. It is recommended not to leave food on the buffet server for more than eight hours,
as food will dry out. Do not leave empty buffet dishes in the buffet server when it is
on.
6. The indicator light will illuminate and will turn on when the desired temperature is
reached.
7. Pre-heat the appliance for about 10 minutes.
8. When you are finished using the buffet server, tum the temperature dial to
‘OFF’ and
unplug the unit from the electrical outlet. Allow it to cool for approximately 90 minutes
before cleaning and storing.
USING THE HOT TRAY
1. Place the hot tray on a stable, heat resistant surface.
2. Plug the appliance into the electrical outlet and switch it on.
3. The indicator light will illuminate and will turn on when the desired temperature is
reached.
4. Pre-heat the appliance for about 10 minutes.
5. The hot tray can reach a temperature of 85°C whilst plugged in and switched on,
therefore, extreme caution must be exercised.
6. Food warmed on the tray must be pre-cooked as the appliance is not designed for
heating from cold or frozen.
7. When you have finished using the hot tray, unplug it from the electrical outlet and
allow it to cool for approximately 90 minutes before cleaning and storing.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Always remember to unplug the unit from the electrical outlet when not in use and
before cleaning. Ensure that the temperature setting is on
‘OFF’. Always allow the
unit to cool fully before cleaning.
