2. General notes
Purpose
The Saljol Allround Rollator was developed for indoor and especially outdoor use.
It serves as a mobility aid with four wheels for people with walking difficulties, e.g. for
independent standing, walking and sitting.
Indication
The Saljol Allround Rollator is designed to cover a wide range of health problems.
It has been specially developed for people who need extra stability when walking. The
integrated seat net also makes it possible to rest while on the move. Everyday routine
tasks without the need for assistance from a third party can be carried out with the
Saljol Allround Rollator.
Contraindication
The Saljol Allround Rollator is not suitable for people with very weak arm strength,
significant cognitive impairment, or very poor balance. The use and application of the
Saljol Allround Rollator should be assessed and instructed by a doctor or therapist.
Service life
With proper use, regular care and maintenance by a specialist company and
compliance with the safety instructions, the expected lifespan of the Aluminium
Rollator is up to 7 years.
If the rollator is still in proper condition after 7 years, you can continue to use it.
Responsibility
As the manufacturer, we can only consider ourselves responsible for the safety,
reliability and usability of the rollator if changes, expansions, repairs and maintenance
work are carried out regularly and only by authorized specialists and if the rollator is
used properly in compliance with all instructions for use.
Declaration of conformity
Saljol GmbH, as the manufacturer of the product, declares that the
Allround Rollator meets the requirements of regulation 2017/745 of
the European Parliament, the Council of the harmonized standard ISO
11199-2: 2005 - Walking aids manipulated by both arms - Requirements
and test methods. Seat and handles meets the biological assessment
according to ISO 10993-5: 2009-10.
3. Notes
3.1 Safety instructions
The instruction manual contains safety notes that are marked twice: by a symbol and
by a signal word. The symbol informs you about the type of notice. The signal word
explains more details, for example the severity of an impending risk.
Caution/Important
Possibly dangerous situation (minor injuries or material damage),
commitment to a particular behaviour or activity for the safe use of the
rollator

3.2 Instructions for the safe use of the product
For safe use of the product, please keep the following in mind:
Restrictions on use
• The maximum user weight must not exceed 150 kg.
• The net bag may be loaded with a maximum of 5 kg.
• It is not permitted to move yourself around with your feet (tripping)
while being seated on the rollator.
• The rollator is designed for both indoor and outdoor use.
• Never use in the presence of flammable/combustible and burning
substances.
