The function “start/stop” can be used for more convenient automatic switch-on or switch-off of the unit. This function helps to control the unit, for ins-
tance, from the building protection system, door lock or motion sensor PIR PIR (passive infra-red sensor). Where the motion sensor is used, the unit
is switched on or off depending on the number of people present in the room.

When the digital input of the “start/stop” controller is switched on, the unit is on. When it is switched off, the unit is off. To activate the unit it is necessary
to use the NC (normally closed) contact in the digital input. The unit is switched off using the NO (normally open) contact.
The PIR sensor is ordered individually. Power supply to the sensor shall be designed by the system installer; it is not designed in the unit automation.
The installer shall take all precautionary measures regarding its proper connection.
Connection of a functional node to a ventilation unit:
To use this function, the short circuiter must be removed from terminals 5 and 6 – its installation is standard.
5,6 – PIR, building alarm system, door lock input
NC – the unit is on
NO – the unit is off
The unit automation has the additional indication designed, i.e. where light indication is connected, it is possible to identify the status of the unit: the unit
is on and it is operating without interruptions; unit failure. This additional indication can be used to inform the persons in charge on the status of the unit.

Where a unit is on and there are no faults, the indication “AHU work” is on. In case of any failure of the unit – “AHU stop”.
Light indication shall be installed (if required) by the system installer. Light indication is not included in the standard set of the unit.

9 – Positive potential (+24VDC) “AHU Stop”
10 – Negative potential (-24VDC) “AHU Stop”
11 - Positive potential (+24VDC) “AHU Work”
12 - Negative potential (-24VDC) “AHU Work”
Maximum power of one light indication cannot exceed 1.2W
