Supply (indoor) air temperature can be controlled by:
• Supply air temperature sensors.
• Extract air temperature sensors.
• Supply or extract air temperature sensors with respect to summer/winter mode temperature “OutDoor T.C” (Summer/winter mode set temperature).
If required, the supply air heater (EKA) may be additionally connected to the unit control system (see below). When it is used the supply air temperature
value may be increased up to the desired value.
Operation:
Where the supply air temperature is controlled by the supply air temperature sensor “TJ”, the set value (in a remote control) is compared to measured
values of the supply air sensor and, if there is a heating demand, the heat exchanger bypass valve is closed and only then the additionally connected
supply air heater is switched on. These processes are controlled according to the PID controller. The heater of air supplied for heating is switched on
(by means of the PID controller).
Where the supply (indoor) air temperature is controlled by the extract air temperature sensor “DTJ100.1”, the indoor air temperature is maintained by
the controller using (comparing) the following values:
• Minimum indoor (extract air) temperature
• Maximum indoor (extract air) temperature
• Temperature set by the user
The unit’s automation maintains the extract (indoor) air temperature within minimum-maximum (Min Supply, Max Supply) temperature limits upon the
evaluation of the temperature set by the user in the remote control. This way too cold or hot air supply to the air transportation system is prevented.
At the same time the supply air temperature sensor limits the heater’s power and the additionally protected electrical heater is protected against
overheating or accidental oxygen “burning”.
The electrical supply air heater is controlled according to the PID controller on the basis of the “on/off” control principle. When the unit is switched off,
the heating elements are cooled. This period may be changed by the remote control (“Flex” only).
Other information:
The heater (EKA) is ordered individually. The heater has the automatic protection against overheating (temperature limiting protection) which is actu-
ated at 50°C and manual protection which is actuated when 100°C is reached.
Function adjustment, setting:
By
“FLEX”
remote control: “Set temperature” means that the desired supply or extract indoor air temperature is set between 15 and 30 °C.

ture “OutDoor T.C”.
Minimum, maximum supply air temperature and summer/winter mode temperature can be set only by “Flex” remote control:

• “Min Supply” – minimum permissible supply temperature, 12-24°C. Default value: 15°C
• “Max Supply” – maximum permissible supply temperature, 25-40°C. Default value: 40°C
• “OutDoor T.C” – selecting summer/winter temperature, 10-30°C. Default value: 16°C
Time to cool heating elements upon switching off the unit may be configured by Flex remote control (default value – 60 seconds):
Menu > additional >Add.Func.> FanStopTime (factory settings).
The temperature control principle may be selected only by “Flex” remote control:
