automatically in 30 seconds. You may find this feature
useful if you store your device in a briefcase or purse or
carry it in your coat pocket for extended periods of time
when travelling.
To lock the and phone keys
1. Tap then Settings . On the Personal tab, tap
Phone , then General .
2. Tap Other .
3. Tap Lock Green and Red keys . Tap this option again
to cancel your selection.
4. Tap .
8.2 Activating the use of a PIN code
Your WA 3050 device includes an option for activating the
use of a PIN code whenever the phone is turned on. If your
device is lost or stolen, it cannot be used to make or receive
calls if this option is enabled.
To activate the use of a PIN code
1. Tap then Settings . On the Personal tab, tap
Phone , then Security .
2. Tap Require PIN code when the phone is powered
on so that it is selected.
3. On the PIN entry window, press the keys or use the
stylus to type a PIN code. PIN codes must be from 4 to
8 characters in length. If you make an error, press and
hold to delete what you typed and reenter your PIN
code.
Note
If you make three incorrect entries, the SIM card
is blocked and must be replaced or unlocked by your
