machine

Hold the

button down until

"on"

shown on the display.

You will hear the following message:

ONLY MODE ACTIVATED

depending on

the state of the answering machine when it
was switched off.

Switching to "recording answering
machine" mode

Press the

key on the base.

Repeatedly press the

key until

"o1"

shown on the base display. Press the
key to validate.

The answering machine then plays back the
announcement that your correspondent will
hear. To modify this announcement, refer to
the paragraph

"Creating your personal announcement for
the recording answering machine", page 28

Your answering machine is now in "recording
answering machine" mode. The number of
messages is shown on the display.

Switching to "basic answering
machine" mode

Press the

key on the base.

Repeatedly press the

key until

"o2"

shown on the base display. Press the
key to validate.

The answering machine then plays back the
announcement that your correspondent will
hear. To modify this announcement, refer to
the paragraph

"Creating your personal announcement for
the basic answering machine", page 29
