2. UNPACKING AND ASSEMBLING THE PRODUCT
Keep the EFT930S packaging. It should be reused for any transportation.
The package contains:
• The terminal, equipped with its paper roll.
• The plug-in power adapter.
(The power adapter supplied with your terminal is specially designed for it. Do not use any other unit.
Using a power adapter having apparently identical voltage/current characteristics can nevertheless deteriorate the
terminal).
• Installation instructions.
• The twisted cable to link to the machine.
• A telephone cable and specific telephone socket (according to model).
3. NORMAL USE
Card reader swipe direction
Reading a magnetic stripe (of a swipe card or smart
card):
• Hold the card as follows:
- face to the right (the magnetic stripe is on the back).
- card top edge (defined in relation to the reading
direction) placed at the reader entry.
• Pull the card through the reader.
