10 . The ToxDetective reader will process the image of each test ticket,
comparing the fluorescence of the “A” sample well with the “B” control well
and display a positive or negative result . Make sure to run both the 001a as
well as the 001b test tickets for a complete test of your sample .
Results: If both tickets are negative, the sample is negative / pass) -
no contaminants detected . If at least one ticket is positive, the sample is
positive / fail) - contaminates are detected.
Possible Interferences: Samples and sample extracts that are acidic, or
contain high levels of alcohol may interfere with the test . Testing dirt or
trim that contains large particulates can cause the test ticket to get clogged
and not run properly if these large particulates are not filtered out. This can
be easily solved with an additional syringe filter that is sold separately.
11 . Each test result is uniquely recorded with a record number and date/
time stamp . The data can be reviewed on the reader for quick analysis or
exported to a PC computer for later use .
