4 . “A” sample well: Using the
provided pipette*, transfer
the wash fluid from the
sample bag and dispense
5-6 drops of the extract
water into the “A” well of both
001a and 001b test tickets .
6 . Start the timers for both
001a & 001b test tickets
and allow each to develop
for 12 minutes . After 12
minutes, the reader will
automatically alarm to let
you know its time to read
the tickets .
*If you are testing trim or soil that contains large particulates, it is highly
recommended that you use the Trim & Soil Test Kit (sold separately -
Part # TST-001). The test ticket well can become clogged and not run
properly if these large particulates are not filtered out beforehand.
To use the Trim & Soil test kit:
1. Insert the syringe (no filter attached yet) into the wash fluid from
the sample bag and pull up on the plunger to collect the wash fluid.
2. Attach the round filter (luer lock side) to the tip of the syringe by
screwing it on clockwise and dispense the wash liquid into the
provided collection tube by fully pressing the syringe plunger
all the way down .
3. Run the test tickets as normal using the filtered liquid from the
collection tube for the “A” well of both 001a and 001b test tickets .

5 . “B” control well: Using another
pipette (don’t use the same
pipette as you did to fill the
“A” sample well), transfer 5-6
drops of RO (control) water
to fill the control well of both
001a and 001b test tickets .
