Format
Formatting a device erases all existing
data, including recorded video.
Use the following procedure to format a
device:
1.
Use the arrow keys on the remote
control to select a device from the
drop-down menu.
Available devices include Main
Storage, Mirror Storage, or USB.
2.
In the
FUNCTION
field, select
FAST
FORMAT
(to format normally) or
SLOW FORMAT
(to search for bad
storage sectors before formatting)
3.
Select
OK
.
A Warning message appears.
4.
Select
OK
.
5.
The format process begins.
When finished, the DVR restarts
automatically.
