21. Attach the V-Belt by pushing it over belt guide bar, between the belt guard

opening and then looping it over the engine drive pulley. See Figure 9.

IV. HOW TO OPERATE YOUR HOIST

1. Before starting engine:

a. Refer to motor “operating instructions” for starting oil and gasoline

specifications. Check engine & gear box oil level

BEFORE STARTING.

b. CAUTION-Make certain the drive belt is not so tight that it engages with the

winch drum assembly and the engine pulley. It must be loose enough to
