Rear-Facing Installation with Base
Never place a child rear-facing in a
seating position with an active frontal
airbag. This can result in serious injury
or death.
This child restraint must always face the rear of
the vehicle when the child is between 4-35 lbs
(1.8-15.9 kg) and is less than one year old.

vehicle lap or lap/shoulder belt.
Check LATCH belt before each use. Use only if
the belt can be tightened properly and securely.

designated LATCH positions and anchor locations.
Place Base in Vehicle
Rear-Facing
Center the base between
the vehicle anchors in the
chosen seating position.

Unlock the Belt Lock
Lift up on the belt lock off
lock.
Remove the lock from the
plates.
Tip:
Push down on the top
cover to help make it
easier to open the lock.
