Remove Seat Pad
Lower headrest to middle of seat.
Gently pull the seat pad off the top of
the car seat and remove it from the
shell.

Cleaning Pad and Accessories
Machine wash separately with cold water on a gentle cycle.
Do not use bleach. Tumble dry separately for 10-12
minutes on low heat. Remove immediately.
Cleaning Harness Strap
Check the harness straps often for any wear or damage.
Spot clean using warm sudsy water and damp cloth.
Spilled food and liquids on the car seat may result in mold or
bacterial growth over time. These spills could also attract insects
or rodents.
Installing Seat Pad
Adjust the headrest to the highest position. Starting from the
bottom, gently pull the headrest pad onto the headrest.
Locate the pad fabric tab slot in the headrest at the headrest/
harness adjustment handle. Slide the fabric tab into the slot in
the headrest.
Starting from the bottom of the car seat, slip the pad on the
shell. Pull the harness adjustment strap through the pad. Wrap
the pad around the top of the shell. Attach the elastic straps.
Install the harness system, see pages 67-69.
Do not use the child restraint without the seat pad or
with damaged harness straps.
