Problem

Possible Causes

Remedy

Lift table
creeps down
under load.

1) Down valve spindle is

sticking or contains
debris.

This is the most likely cause of lift table creep. To remedy,
replace the down valve spindle.

Be extremely careful not to allow dirt to enter the system
when replacing the down valve spindle.

2) Check valve in pump

contains debris.

Contact Safetech regarding dismantling and cleaning the
check valve. Alternatively, the pump can be replaced.

3) Oil by-passing cylinder

seals.

Check clear vent tube for by-pass as described in section
4.2.

If by pass occurs, contact Safetech regarding repacking or
replacing cylinders.
