Description
Configures the events to log, or displays the list of
available events.
Attributes
no
– disables event logging. This is equivalent to
specifying noTerminal and noLogFile.
snmp-packets
– specifies SNMP packet contents (hex
dump).
snmp-trap
– specifies traps issued from the HA4000.
snmp-event
– specifies a summary of SNMP activity:
packet sent, packet received, trap sent.
CCB
– specifies control board messages, which include
hardware diagnostic tests and policy configuration
errors. Case sensitive.
ike
– specifies IKE negotiation messages. For technical
support diagnostic use. Case sensitive.
Ssh
– specifies Secure Shell messages. For technical
support diagnostic use. Case sensitive.
cmbSsh
– specifies IPSec Phase 1 and Phase 2
negotiation messages on the management port. Case
sensitive.
systemLog
– specifies significant management module
messages. Case sensitive.
terminal
– displays events on the terminal.
noTerminal
– disables the display of events on the
terminal.
logFile
– records events in the log file.
noLogFile
– disables event recording in the log file.
quiet
– displays only critical messages.
normal
– displays critical messages and major status
changes, such as enabling or disabling a command, or
installing a new security policy. Allows you to track the
progress of events at a high level.
verbose
– use only for debugging in a controlled
environment.
list
– lists all event log attributes and their status.
