4. CHECKS BEFORE USING THE LIFT
Perform the following daily checks before using the machine:
1. Check that the batteries are charged.
2. Make sure the charging cable (230V) has been disconnected.
3. Inspect the machine for any possible oil leakage.
4. Check the function of the wheel brakes on the swivel wheels.
5. Make sure that the wheel brakes on the swivel wheels are
locked before raising or lowering the platform (PA60).
4.1 Main switch
The lift's main switch is located at the lift's right front wheel. Always
switch off the main switch when not in use to save power. Remove
the key to the main switch to prevent unauthorized use.
4.2 Raising of platform
Press the upper button, marked with the platform symbol, which is
located on the control panel in the platform.
4.3 Lowering of platform
Press the lower button, marked with the platform symbol, which is
located on the control panel in the platform.
4.4 Horn
The lift is equipped with a horn. The horn button is located at the top
of the control panel in the platform.
4.5 Tilt sensor (MA60)
MA60 is equipped with a tilt sensor that prevents the lift from being
driven or the platform being raised, if the lift is tilted more than 1°.
When the tilt sensor is activated, a warning sound sounds. To be
able to use the lift again, the platform must be lowered to its bottom
position and the lift moved to a floor surface that is inclined less
than 1°.
All safety regulations, operating instructions, labels and national
safety instructions / requirements must be carefully read,
understood and complied with.
