Multi-Device Settings
Additional cameras can be added here to enable multi device streaming as mention in the
User Interface chapter. Click e.g. The 2nd device, fill out the parameters for camera #2
and click Add followed by Setup.
If the cameras from a different network are added, the remote access addresses should
be used. Use the routers statis/fixed IP address or the remote access DDNS address
found on the camera followed by the assigned port. Note that all cameras on the same
network must be assigned unique IP addresses and unique portnumbers.
Users Settings
Three user account with differentiated permission levels can be set and modified here.
For security purposes, it is strongly advised, to always change the passwords of all three
levels upon first login as administrator.
Administrator: admin - highest authority, and able to modify all settings. The default
password is 123456.
Operator: operator – permitted to operate the camera, but can modify no settings.
The default password is user.
Visitor: visitor – only possible to view live video. No changes or operations can
be made. The default password is guest.
PTZ Settings (Only applicable for Pan/Tilt models)
Settings for Pan/Tilt camera models can be modified here.
(1) Preset position are deactivated by ticking the checkbox Disable Preset.
(2) Choose which of the 16 preset positions the camera should enter after reboot.
(3) Set the camera motion speed.
(4) By clicking the Cruise buttons in the User Interface, the camera will move between the
two end-positions. In the Cruise Turn menu the number of complete motion cycles the
camera performs is set.
Maintain
From the software the following maintenance features can be activated.
(1) Restore Factory Default: Resets all camera settings to default.
(2) Reboot Camera: Restarts the camera.
(3) Upgrade Device Firmware: When SafeHome releases an update for the camera firm-
ware (internal software), it is available for download from the SafeHome webpage, and
can be saved on the user’s harddisk. When the user wishes to update the camera,
the menu Upgrade Device Firmware is selected and the software must be found and
selected from the browsersystem automatically opened. When the user clicks the
Upgrade button update is installed.
(4) Upgrade Device Embedded Web UI: When SafeHome releases an update for the cam-
era firmware (internal software), it is available for download from the SafeHome web-
page, and can be saved on the user’s harddisk. When the user wishes to update the
camera, the menu Upgrade Device Embedded Web UI is selected and the software
must be found and selected from the browsersystem automatically opened. When the
user clicks the Upgrade button update is installed.
APP
For access and live video streaming by use of a SmartPhone/tablet, the SafeHomes APP
for SmartP2P cameras (L-Serie og M-Serie) can be used.
Download the APP SafeHome SmartP2P from AppStore® or Google Play® and install it
on your device. IPad users can install the iPhone APP.
Select Add Camera and click Scan QRCode or LAN Search, if the APP should search
your network for available and compatible cameras. If Scan QRCode is selected, the de-
vice’s camera will open. Scan the QR code from the label found on the camera and enter
the camera username and password.
The APP can be used for adjusting brightness/contrast/resolution, record video and tak-
ing snapshots. In the Advanced Setting section e.g. email-/user-/alarmsettings can be
modified in the same ways as if modified thru the camera firmware.
