The import/export of the Installation Backup is available in the menu:
Maintenance > Installation Backup
Installation Backup
Backup of the Installation to:
- Restore it later on this power source or another power source
- Keep it for traceability reasons
The power source is displayed on the left column and the external storage medium is displayed on the right column:
Export Import
Export:
To make an export on a external storage medium, select the elements to be exported, press on the transfer button, name the file and wait until the end of
the export.
Import:
Navigate into the external storage medium until the folder which contains the file to be imported, select the file, press on the transfer button
and wait until the end of the import.
Welding programs import is detailed in the § IMPORT/EXPORT, page 26.
The import of the power source configuration restores the previous configuration.
The import of the Installation Backup restores the previous Installation Backup except:
- Software versions of power source
- Power source identifier (to do manually)
The welding programs won’t be erased if their number is not associated to a program on the Installation Backup.
To obtain an exact copy of the power source status, do a factory reset of the power source before import.
WARNING
To restore the installation, it is necessary that a software version of the power source is compatible with the version of the
power source from which the backup was made.
WARNING
During the import of user synergy, actual synergy stored in the power source which have the same id will be overwritten.
