REPAIR

STEERING GEAR REMOVAL

1. Remove battery and safely raise front of tractor.
2. Remove fuel tank and dash panel. See “FUEL

TANK AND DASH PANEL REMOVE AND
INSTALL” on page 5 in MISCELLANEOUS
Section.

3. Remove cotter pin and washer from end of steering

tie rod.

rod until parallel with steering yoke arm.
