Some of the following symbols may be used on this product. Please study them and learn their meaning. Proper
interpretation of these symbols will allow you to operate the product better and safer.

Safety Alert Symbol
Indicates a potential personal injury hazard.
Read Operator’s Manual
To reduce the risk of injury, user must read and understand
operator’s manual before using this product.
Wear Eye and Head Protection
Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to comply
with ANSI Z87.1, along with head protection.
Wet Conditions Alert
Risk of fire and burns. Do not expose battery, battery
compartment, or electronic components to rain, water, or
liquids. Do not operate on wet ground.
Gloves
Wear non-slip, heavy-duty protective gloves when handling
the blades.
Safety Footwear
Wear non-slip safety footwear when using this equipment.
Keep Tool Away from Electrical
Lines/Keep Bystanders Away
DANGER! Risk of electrocution! Keep tool 50 feet away
from electrical lines. Keep all bystanders at least 50 ft. away.
Electric Shock
Failure to use in dry conditions and to observe safe practices
can result in electric shock.
No Hands Symbol
Failure to keep your hands away from the blade will result
in serious personal injury.
Operate With Two Hands
Hold and operate the hedge trimmer properly with both hands.

not related to a potential injury (e.g. messages relating to property damage).
