8. Turn on the MDK-C5 Keypad by pressing and releasing its power button.
9. Using the MDK-C5 Keypad,

Press and Release the “Home” button and the Home Screen will display.
Press and Release the “-“ button to highlight “Sources”.
Press and Release the “OK” button.

The Source Screen will appear displaying the following,
There should

not

be a scroll bar to the right of the Source Screen:

MCA-C5 Tuner
Stream 1
Stream 2
Stream 3
DMS-3.1 Tuner

10. If you see a scroll bar to the right of the 5 Sources in Step 9 perform a
Factory Init…the next to last test of the DMS-3.1.
Then repeat the “Set MCA-C5 Sources” section until the scroll bar is not seen and
the correct names for the 5 Sources are listed.

11. Proceed to the next section when only the 5 Sources are displayed
on the MDK-C5 Keypad.
12. Continue by performing the

“Turn on DMS-3.1”

section.
