AIR FILTER MAINTENANCE
A clogged air filter (impregnated with impurities) will decrease the airflow from the
carburetor. Always perform regular air filter maintenance. Frequent maintenance is
required when the gasoline generator is exposed to extremely dusty areas.
WARNING
Do not clean the filter element using gasoline or low-burning cleaning agent. Otherwise,
the explosion may occur.
Do not start the engine without an air filter. Otherwise, dirty air can enter the engine by
reducing its life.
1) Remove the air filter cover. Remove the filter element.
2) Clean the filter element then dry it completely in a natural environment.
4) Install the filter element again and place the cover.
DETERMINATION OF THE DECANTORATE GUAR
Turn off the fuel tap, remove the decanter and the O-ring ring and clean the decanter
glass.
Remove the components after drying them completely. Open the fuel valve to check for
leaks.
