Grounding terminal
The generator grounding terminal is connected to the generator frame, the non-
conductive metal parts of the generator and the mass terminals of each socket.
Before using the grounding terminal, consult a qualified electrical inspector or a local
agency competent for local codes or ordinances applicable to the use of the generator.
5. FUEL AND OIL SUPPLY
5.1 OIL SUPPLY
Engine oil is a major factor that affects the performance of the engine and its life. Non-
detergent oils and two-stroke engine oil will damage the engine and are not
recommended.
Check the oil level BEFORE EACH USE, positioning the generator on a flat surface and
with the engine stopped.
CAREFUL! The generator is not deliver with oil in the engine.
Fill the engine crankcase with RURIS 4T-MAX engine oil or API classification oil: CI- 4 /
SL or higher, to the filling edge (see table technical data).
In the cold season of the year it is recommended to use RURIS oil 4T-WINTER GT
SAE 10W-40 API: CI- 4 / SL.
1. Remove the oil filter cover and clean
the dipstick.
2. Check the oil level by inserting the dip
into the filling hole without screwing it.
3. If the level is low, fill to the top of the filling hole with the recommended oil.
