FAQ/Correction of errors
If your GPS watch is not working properly, first check that the
watch battery is charged and that the chest strap battery is
replaced if needed.
I’d like to start training, why doesn’t the GPS watch show speed?
When acquiring the GPS signal BEFORE you start your workout or
GPS Navigation, be sure that you are standing in one place and not
on the move. Be sure that you are standing in an open space, with
a clear view of the sky when you start the search for satellites. See
section #### of the operating instructions for more information on
acquiring a GPS signal.
What does the "GPS lost" display mean?
When "GPS lost" is displayed, it means that the GPS watch is not
currently receiving the GPS signal or all the signals from the
satellites were lost. See section ### of the operating instructions for
more information.
Why is the display blank?
Why doesn’t the display light work?
Be sure that the watch battery is charge. Charge the battery if
needed. The display may have inadvertently been turned off Press
the LAP/Reset button for over 5 seconds to turn it back on. If the
display still does not appear, contact Runtastic customer service.
Why is the screen black and why aren’t the displays readable?
When the watch display is exposed to direct sun or high
temperatures the watch may become over-heated and the display
may be hard to read. Allow the GPS-watch to cool down, and the
display will become readable again.
