Attention: The installation of the mouthpiece pickup should be arran-
ged at any rate by a special repair shop or a specialized store for wood-
wind instruments. We explicitly point out that we are not liable for any
damages which are caused by installing the pickup.
Attention:
Under no circumstances should pressure be applied
onto the membrane. This may lead to damages or even destruc-
tion of the pickup!

Installation in mouthpieces made of plastic or rubber for saxophone:

When fitting into saxophone mouthpieces, additional points must
be observed:
•
The mounting position of the pickup should be chosen in such
a way, that the ligature can be easily attached.
•
Before marking the drilling position -> mount the ligature
used with the reed.
•
Slide the S-neck at most into the mouthpiece to determine the
possible mounting range (= after the end of the S-neck) for the
pickup (fig. 4). The WP-1X must be mounted so far away from
the S-Bow that a collision can be excluded.
•
Do not cover the inside of the pickup with the S-neck after
installation. In some cases it may make sense to use a different,
e.g. narrower ligature or to modify an existing one.
•
The actual drilling position may, in some cases, deviate from
the position in the graph (in vertical direction), if the S-neck
protrudes far into the mouthpiece.
