Li-ion batteries are subject to the requirements of the hazardous
materials legislation. Private users may transport the battery in the
streets without any limitations.
For commercial transport or transport by third parties (e.g. forward-
ing agent), national regulations on packaging and identification
must be met (e.g provisions of the ADR). If required, consult your
specialist in hazardous materials for the correct preparation of the
package.
