SurroundControl 31900/31960 Series

First function layer

• Display

Hold

(First layer, button/key 1)
Selecting this function freezes the RTA display. A cursor
readout of all frequency bands is possible. The buttons/
keys

REF+

and

REF–

are disabled. This button/key has

toggle function – select again to turn off

Display Hold

.

< Cur and Cur >

(First layer, button/key 2 and button/key 4)
These functions move the cursor to the previous or next
frequency band in the RTA. You can also move the cursor
to the left and right by clicking and dragging with the opti-
onal mouse.

• Cur

Ref

(First layer, button/key 3)
Selecting this function sets the current layer of the se-
lected frequency band as the reference value. If you then
set the cursor on another band the difference between
this band and the reference value is shown in the cursor
readout.

•

REF+ and REF–

(First layer, button/key 5 and button/key 6)
These functions enable you to shift the display’s reference
point for a clearer readout in the window. The RTA’s layer
display is always relative.

• Scale

(First layer, button/key 7)
This function switches the display scale between

dB divisions.

Second function layer (select MORE to activate)

• Range

(Second layer, button/key 1)
This function switches the frequency range of the RTA
display between

LF

(5 Hz – 5 kHz) and

Norm

(20 Hz –

20 kHz).

• Weighting

(Second layer, button/key 2)
This function allows you to select weighting ﬁ lter
